~ Our 2020 Graduating Seniors ~
My name is Kate Prestwich, and I've been with BoCo for the last two years. I've loved playing for this club so much.
Plans after graduation: Next year I'm attending Utah State University and pursuing a major in Human Movement Science/Athletic Training.
What I've learned from BoCo: Throughout my years playing volleyball, I've learned how important it is to work hard, but also to stay positive through the struggles, whether that be for the sake of myself or my team.
Favorite quote: "Always happy, never satisfied."
Also, I want to give a huge Thank You to our incredible owner, Tatum McKenzie. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be playing this game, nor would I be the person I am today. She is an incredible coach, owner and overall human being. Love you T-Dog!
Plans after graduation: Western University, Gunnison, CO
Favorite quote: "Helping others and encouraging others are often acts of kindness that have more meaning than you may realize." - Catherine Pulsifer
Favorite BoCo memory: When Olivia made me laugh so hard almost every practice because she would either crack jokes or annoy the coach.
Something I learned from BoCo: That attention to detail is important, and those details will make you a better player.
Plans after graduation: I plan to attend the University of Utah and major in political science.
Favorite quote: "Hold onto the little things while you still can. Fight for everything you want, with everything you have."
Favorite BoCo memory: Kate, Emily, Emma & Brandy--You are my heart, and I love you. My favorite memories are always with you gals. When I refer to you in 20 years, it will not only be my teammates, but my best friends. Brandy & Emily--I'm sorry for Disney. Kate & Emma--I'm not sorry.
Plans after graduation: I will be attending college at Sterling College in Kansas, where I will be majoring in business and horticulture. I will also be playing volleyball as a Warrior.
Words of advice: Have fun, stay humble, be a queen.
Favorite BoCo memory: Disneyworld with Emma, Kate, Brandy and Olivia, and winning the last power tournament last season.
Plans after graduation: After high school I will be starting at Front Range Community College and majoring in psychology.
I want to thank my parents for always supporting me and telling me that no matter what I choose to do with my life, they will be proud of me and support my decisions.
