Read below to gain a better understanding of what you can expect when you tryout to be part of the BoCo family!
Online Registration
Pre-registation is required to attend BoCo tryouts. A one-time nonrefundable $50 tryout fee is due at the time of registration.
Attend Tryouts
Tryouts will be held at Longmont Athletic Club (1310 Baker Street - West side of building next to Alpine Physical Therapy). Players should arrive 15 minutes early to check in and prepare for tryouts. Evaluations/drills will begin promptly at the designated tryout time.
Evaluation
Players will be guided through the tryout and evaluated thoroughly by our club directors and coaches. We will have adequate staff to ensure a smooth and efficient tryout process.
Coach and Team Formation
Coaches and Club Directors meet after tryouts to select teams.
Offer Letters Sent
Contract offers will be given to current BoCo Players on July 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM via email. Contract offers to non-BoCo Players will be made on July 23rd, 2024 at 10:00 AM via email. Players have 10 hours to respond to the offer with an acceptance or denial.
USAV Age Requirements
Please use the following chart to determine which age group your child will be trying out for based on their date of birth (month & year). This following chart is for the 2023-2024 Season.

TRYOUTS FOR THE 2024-2025 CLUB SEASON
- Players who want to tryout for the 2024-2025 Club Season may attend tryouts. Please see tryout schedule above.
- Recommended Tryout Period For the 24-25 season, clubs are recommended by the RMR to hold tryouts from July 14th, 2024 to July 21st, 2024. While some clubs may choose to hold “tryouts” at different dates, the RMR encourages clubs to hold their tryouts during this week to give athletes an opportunity to explore different clubs in a smaller window of time. The tryout period ends for an athlete once they have signed a contract. The tryout period ends for a team or club when they have no further spots to offer to prospective athletes.
- Registration is required for tryouts. (Registration period starts on May 1st, 2024)
- Use our online registration to register for any of our tryout dates. A one-time nonrefundable $50 tryout fee is due at the time of registration.
- Tryouts are open to all players with an active USAV membership. If players are not affiliated with USAV, they can obtain a membership here.
- Have your USAV membership number available when you register.
If your child makes a team, you will receive a contract invitation via email
- If you choose to accept the contract, a $500 deposit will be due at the time of contract signing to reserve their spot on that team.
